Review of Immortal (2004) by Terri H — 29 Sep 2008
Artistic cyberpunk film from France that was pretty bizarre but also pretty awesome. It has an odd mix of CGI people and real ones that makes the atmosphere even more trippy. The concept of mixing future tech and mystical gods was cool, like the book Ilium.
The plot, however, was a bit lame. It would have also benefitted from a higher budget or a better CGI studio, and probably would be better off fully animated.
