I have always loved this movie. I remember watching it as a child and sobbing in the last scene. It can make you think about your own mother and how you treat her. I always dredded the day I would say good-bye to my mom.
It was a sad, sad day. But not as sad as it would have been had I treated her lik Sarah Jane treated Annie.
