Review of Imaginaerum (2012) by Fabian L — 13 Sep 2013
While supposedly made for diehard Nightwish fans above all, Imaginaerum should appeal for those into dark fantasy films, Neil Gaiman and Todd McFarlane fans bearing in mind too. The music from the album of the same name weaves into the score rather tastefully and while a simple plot, it ain't at all a bad thing really.
Another thing of note I should add is that the film is very much a visual feast for the eyes. While it may look like much of the film was acted in front of green screen, the imagery while beautifully drawn doesn't at all look like an eyesore.
Worth a look even if you are not a fan of the music! :-).
