As a huge fan of Mr. Kaufman's directorial debut "Synecdoche New York" it pains me to say this is the by far the worst thing I have ever witnessed. Unmitigated, pretentious trash. If you are on many drugs, alcohol and a lack of sleep perhaps shreds of this artistic malignance will appeal to you.
If not dont waste your time. Literally 75% of this 2+ hour film is two people talking in a car while it snows. The least visually interesting thing to occur in the entire history of cinema possibly. IT'S THAT DRAB.
Kaufman is a writer, he wants you to focus on the words. He should never direct ever again. I feel sorry for whoever he convinced to finance this because they surely didnt see a penny in return.
