Review of I'm Still Here (2010) by Adam K — 02 Oct 2010
This is humorous and rather entertaining, but would have had much more appeal if it was marketed as a fictional film about an actor in personal crisis rather than played out to be hoax and mockumentary.
Joaquin Phoenix is a strange individual whether he appears crazy or not. His antics are so convincing that you would believe he actually went crazy. There are situations that are rather uncomfortable and laugh worthy at their use of excess.
Its final images boast a rather large amount of visual cliche metaphors.
