Review of I'm Still Here (2010) by Gregory R — 03 Oct 2010
Joaquin phoenix is still my favorite actor, and i'm glad he's still here. as a documentary I found this film engaging. as a work of fiction I found it silly. there is an amusing ben stillaf*cker cameo which caused me to forgive him the oscar stunt.
I also appreciated seeing the moments surrounding the infamous letterman interview. i'm just not sure what would interest the average movie theater goer. your time would probably be better spent re-watching 'walk the line'.
regardless -like the film, dislike it, or don't give a f*ck about it, joaquin remains one of the most talented actors out there, and i'm happy we'll get to see more of him.
