This is the twist on celeb culture I always wanted to make, so hats off to Phoenix and Affleck for going ahead with it. Compelling viewing and Phoenix performs extremely well in the most elongated notion of method acting I've witnessed, predictably he seems to be pilloried for twisting the media, when he should be commended.
