Review of I'm Not There (2007) by James N — 02 May 2009
Interesting movie in which seven different characters portray Dylan at various stages of Dylan's life. Cate Blanchett stands out as the ever rebellious Dylan during the time when he went "electric," thereby alienating those who wanted to box him in as a folk singer.
With Dylan songs as the soundtrack and stellar performances by seven different actors, this movie is very good. Rather reminds me of Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories.".
