I feel bad giving this film such a low rating because it had some wonderful actors/actresses and performances, but overall it just sucked. As someone who's not a Dylan buff, I couldn't follow it at all.
It was incredibly boring and confusing so we ended up fast forwarding most of the second hour hoping that we'd come across something near the end that might clarify what the hell was going on in the first hour.
No such thing occured. I wish it had been more of a literal depiction of his life and music - it seems like his story is interesting enough so why mess with a good thing?
