A touching experience revealing the conflicted humanity of one of America's most dominating musical influences. One must be prepared not receive a neat little package with a red bow of resolution, but a chaotic ride as real and troubling as life itself, but therein lies its beauty.

Don't expect your standard cohesive Hollywood narrative riddled with predictable, unimaginative, profit-designed fodder. If that's what you want, this movie isn't for you. If you want a journey that will take you past the legend that is Dylan and into a twisted tale of humanity as we all experience it, then you may find it here.

What this movie serves to do is see through the public face that so many are comfortable with, whether your cherish or despise it, and see instead the conflicted identity under pressure from its own brilliance and the world that tries to understand it from their own perspective.

"Like so many other things, people try to own it." Don't try to "own" this movie. Let it live out its own existence, and merely be witness to it.
