Every bit as odd and fascinating as I expected. cate blanchett and christian bale do an exceptional job as do the others. ben whishaw and heath ledger do a good job as well. but richard gere and marcus carl franklin bring down the movie for me tremendously.
if their parts are left out, I would be wanting to rank this at the top of the best movies of 2007.
