This was a fantastic movie for teens to see - so many issues were covered that affects them. Being a teenager is so tough, and being a Christian teen is even tougher. Standing up for what you believe in is hard when you're surrounded by people that believe differently than you and ridicule you.

Rachel Joy Scott stood up for her beliefs and did it with grace. But she was not a Pollyanna. She had some real struggles. Her life was not all roses. She dealt with heartbreak and struggles. This movie is a real look at her life and all the things teens are battling.

The overall message of this movie is that there is hope - even in the face of tragedy. My teen daughters and I left the theater in tears and wanting to be better people. It was tough to see but super uplifting at the same time.

Take a teen to go see this movie - in fact, take several and pay for their tickets. Seriously, they need a break. They need to know they are supported and loved.
