Review of I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2003) by David Ray G — 31 Jul 2008
Clive Owen is one of the best actors in film today so for that alone, this movie avoids the absolute basement. However, not much is there to save this otherwise snorefest of a revenge film, if you can even call it that.
This movie plods along at a snail's pace and it all leads up to a big yawn at the end. For some reason, probably due to Clive Owen being the lead, I thought "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" was going to be a good, dark drama of sorts.
Instead, it kind of saunters into dark territory and shrugs the viewer off.
