*** (out of four).

Though it is far from director Mike Hodges earlier film "Croupier", "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" still offers some fair suspense and a nice showcase for Clive Owen to show himself at his moody best.

Owens plays Graham, a man who was once deep in the gangster world. He has now retired from that life and has taken up solace in the woods. But his younger brother (Jonathan Rhys Meyers, is living in the fast lane, partying at the best London clubs. But when an attact leads to his suicide, Graham re-enters the world to seek revenge.

There is nothing much new here, but it was still intriguing to me. I like the way Hodges shot this, bringing a quiet beauty to the savage preceedings.
