Review of I'll Follow You Down (2013) by Jo Ann S — 20 Jun 2014
The premise is not bad: a brilliant scientist whose father disappeard 12 years earlier, may in fact have travelled in time and gotten killed sometime in the past - is connected grief stricken circumstances in the present which motivate the actions descibed in the title.
Unfortunately, the execution is flat to the point of making the film dull, with a script that seems ponderous for it's own sake, and barring a few moments when Gillian Anderson shines with her dramatic performance, the rest of the cast seems to be stuck in TV-movie-of-the-week mode (Haley Joel Osment included).
