Review of I'll Cry Tomorrow (1955) by Rub S — 22 May 2010
I'll Cry Tomorrow can get a little melodramatic in parts, which is probably just its age showing. Regardless, Susan Hayward's portrayal of Roth, which earned an Oscar nomination, is quite good and makes this movie worth seeing.
Her portrayal of an alcoholic is spot on and you can really feel her desperate need for just one sip of booze.
