Review of I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006) by Paul C — 27 Oct 2007
A 4th of July prank goes tragically wrong for a small group of friends, who one year later and visited by an all too familiar fisherman hell bent on making them pay for their terrible secret. This time though, the secret appears to be not very well-kept and the murderous stranger unstoppable and supernatural in nature.
In my opinion a needless 2nd sequel, which retains none of the appeal of the previous films. A no-star cast, leaden direction and clumsily handled set-pieces make this something of a third-rate film. Certainly the gore is raised to another level, but the story seems thrown together at the last minute.
Not a film I am likely to watch more than once - but do make your own mind up!
