Review of Il Divo (2008) by Neil F — 09 Apr 2009
Excellent biopic about former Italian prime minister Il Divo Giulio Andreotti, who is played magnificently by Tony Servillo. My only gripe is that you do have to possess a fair bit of knowledge of Italian politics as the movie only spends little time explaining the background, and people who are not so knowledgeable will spend most of the time scratching their heads ! That means I will have to return to the DVD very soon.
