Review of Ikiru (1952) by Andy A — 30 May 2008
This movie was simply amazing...I dont know if i've seen anything as yet (with the exception of "Ran" perhaps) that matches the beautiful subtly that Kurosawa and Shimura bring to the screen.
It realistically addresses the issue of death and a wasted life without getting depressing and by the end you may just find yourself changed too. Definitely recommended!
