Review of Ikiru (1952) by Tom S — 20 Nov 2009
Possibly the greatest film ever made.
There are no explosions, chase scenes, special effects, no cheap tricks of any kind. just a superbly told story, solidly played by excellent performers and filmed with an expert eye.
If you have never seen this film and you have a brain in your skull, this film is very highly recommended.
