Review of Ikiru (1952) by Frank H — 23 Jan 2010
This film carries one of the best messages in cinema history. This story behind the meaning of life is beautiful and truly inspiring. I know this movie will have more resonance the older I get, but the message in this movie will always stick with me.
Live life to the fullest, be selfless and kind, and make the biggest and most positive impact you can on other peoples' lives. This is only the second Kurosawa movie I've seen, and I can't wait to dive into more.
