What an unconventionally charming coming-of-age story... This film is so unlike anything else in it's 'genre' and that's because of the amazing writing on display. This movie had some of the smartest writing I think I've seen in a long time.
The cast is great, and the plot itself could have completely ruined the great acting but the writing saved the day completely. I was impressed. Oh, and Claire Danes rolls 'the perfect joint'. MMmm.
