Review of Igby Goes Down (2002) by Jari B — 06 Oct 2008
Catcher in the Rye for the 21st century. I normally hate any movie that centres around class or wealth privilege, but this one truly ripped open the utter hollowness that lies at the heart of being born into status or money.
A fantastic performance by Culkin totally carries a movie in which not much happens, but a lot of truth is exposed.
