A very simple story told in a very gripping way. Though as simple as it is, the film is also very powerful and has a strong kick to it. Serban's first feature showed his impressive adapting and directing skills which also made himself a new member of the unstoppable Romanian New Wave.
The first-timer George Pistereanu shined incredibly in his first role ever. A new star is born.
