I can understand how this movie caused such a stir at the time. Excellent performance by McDowell in his film debut. A great example of the "lunatic fringe" seeking retribution on their oppressive superiors.
Quite enjoyed the alternating colour/black and white visuals as well as the pacing which was thorough and provided a great opportunity to establish an emotional connection to the characters.
