Lindsay Anderson's If... is a surrealistic and smart film about three rebellious students in an english private boarding school who have plans to take out the system once and for all. If... is a very interresting surrealistic insight into the ortodox british teaching system which I find very inhuman, which would have been child abuse.
I find even the term boarding school more surrealistic. It's a thrilling and most of all interresting piece of filmmaking. Thumbs up.
