Review of Idlewild (2006) by James L — 28 Aug 2006
[font=Times New Roman]Enjoyable, truly enjoyable. It was quite adorable, very cute without mistake. Clever? Complicated? Original? The music perhaps.
Sadly, this was Moulin Rouge for black people. I wish it wasn't, and I additionally wish for more recently, unheard Outkast music. However I believe the application was brilliant indeed. If only there wasn't such a real duplicate.
Some complain over stiff, character acting. It's a musical you dipshits. There isn't flavorful dialouge in almost any musical. You better start throwing Sondheim's name around like Jesus Christ or stop bitching out right. The characters were at least played well to their mold; I certainly wasn't asking for TNT Prime Time Drama.
