Review of Idlewild (2006) by Ray L — 15 Feb 2009
Overall, Idlewild was an enjoyable "musical" with the whole theme of 1930s with the speakeasies, loose women, gunfights, hooch, etc. Andre and Antwan both did a really good job in their respective rolls.
The ending was a bit predictable, but it still worked with the movie. Terrance Howard did a good job as the villain in the movie and it was nice to see some more well known faces have roles in the movie, as well as cameos, such as Cicely Tyson.
