Review of Idle-Hands (2010) by Jason O — 14 Aug 2009
I knew I wanted to see "Idle Hands" when I first saw the previews last year. I finally saw it on TV and it wasn't like I thought it would be. I thought it was just gonna be a comedy movie, but it combines horror and comedy. A pot smoker's hand gets possessed to where he can't control it. He gets tired of killing everybody he sees, so he cuts it off and it gets loose on the streets. They have to find it and kill it any way they can.
I recommend anybody who likes comedy or horror movies to watch "Idle Hands." It has good acting and it does have a few funny parts such as when he throws the cat out of the window. There's only one thing I didn't understand about the movie. Why did Anton's 2 pot smoking friends come back alive and the other people didn't? Overall, this is a decent movie and it's original. NOTE: That was my Amazon review from the year 2000. Yeah, still the same, neat movie but nothing real special.
