Review of Ichi the Killer (2001) by Tom G — 11 Aug 2009
A bloody, bloody movie. If you have seen Miike's other movie "Audition" you will know what I am talking about. The gratuitous violence and sex make this movie. I flinched at the scene with the woman being tortured (Nipples anyone?).
Ichi was psycho but the most psychotic of them all was Kakihara. The ending scene on the roof was a very interesting way to end the battle between the two. Kakihara is the man! I want now. Someone buy me this!
