Review of Ichi the Killer (2001) by Joel T — 23 Jan 2010

I enjoy an occasional violent bloodbath type film as much as the next person. I can stomach any gore and violence that can be dished out. However, the plot to this film was very hard to follow, and it just wasn't very good.

Frankly, it was boring! It took a lot of willpower not to turn this off, simply out of boredom. This is no short film at over 2hrs, but I plodded through it, and was disappointed that I did. Oh well, to each their own, I guess.
