Review of Ichi the Killer (2001) by Serina K — 03 Mar 2010
Wasn't what I was expecting, and way more violent that I thought it would be. I don't remember ever watching a cold-blooded killer in the same vein as Ichi. He is truly an original. Although the violence is visited on men and women alike, the scenes with women getting raped and beaten and tortured were nauseating.
