Review of Ichi the Killer (2001) by Ippei K — 08 May 2010
Despite the violence, weirdness, grossness and what have you, it's actually a pretty okay film. The story develops and becomes very interesting. However there are way too many plot holes and unexplained ambiguities for my liking.
Still, if you can stand the brutal nature of the violence, it's worth a look.
