Review of Ichi the Killer (2001) by Corpse M — 08 Jul 2010

Five stars because this movie is one of many reasons that brought me and my fiancée together. Also five stars because it's damn good! Not as much gore as me and my girl wants it to be though since after watching Tokyo Gore Police, we are on a journey to find the goriest movie ever (that isn't snuff).

The torture scenes are... exquisite and pretty damn cool. Don't forget all the violence and excess "red paint", that seems to be flowin' like a tsunami, as well. Now we spice that red soup with a little mindtweaking and we got a genuine movie that keeps the watcher wondering what the end was all about. Exceptional movie! Definately my cup of tea.
