"I believe anything is possible with faith and perseverance.".
Wing-Cheong Law, director of Punished, The Wrath of Vajra, Hooked on You, 2 Become 1, Running Out of Time 2, and Tactical Unit - The Code, delivers Iceman. The storyline for this picture is below average, borderline dreadful; however, the action scenes are excellent and fun. The acting is mediocre and the cast includes Donnie Yen, Kang Yu, Baoqiang Wang, Simon Yam, and Shengyi Huang.
"You sow the seed you reap the fruit.".
I was really excited to discover Netflix had added this new Donnie Yen movie to the queue. I adored his action scenes and some of his one-liners were funny; unfortunately, the plot was awful. I'd give the storyline a 1 and the action scenes an 8, so I scored the film a four overall. This is really only worth seeing for fans of the martial arts genre or Donnie Yen.
"Gimme back my curry chicken!".
Grade: C-.
