Chinese people need to make movies that have decent plots and endings...the idea here was ok but there was no back story as to how they were frozen. what was their goal in the film? I mean the ending was horrible if you call it an ending.
I mean what was the point to the girl's character. She helped a few times and he helps her but no romance. She could have been a dude/a bro helping out another bro. He could have taken on a student but no nothing like that.
Why was the Police Captain/Chief (or whatever rank he was) from the past? Or better yet how did he get there? The flashbacks did not help at all. They should have shown flashbacks to when they were frozen or even slowly revealed why the Police Captain wanted to capture him.
Who was the real traitor? Was it the other two brothers? why did they start working together? What happened in those 3 months? Wasted 2 hours. Donnie Yen's skills from Ip man is wasted in this film.
If you can't finish what you start don't bother starting it. Even throughout the mindless fights and empty feelings there were some parts I enjoyed. The forced humor and eyecandy.
