Review of Ice Age: Collision Course (2016) by Linda P — 24 Jul 2016

I am a huge fan of the Ice Age saga, have watched each one numerous times and never tire of them, especially the first film. I was so excited when I learned that there was a new one coming out. I love the beautiful job Blue Sky Company does with the visuals, especially with its Rio movies; however, they really messed up with this new Ice Age film! As I sat through the movie trying to follow all the overdone slapstick, I considered either walking out when the movie wasn't even into its first 30 minutes or sneaking into another theater showing a much better movie.

I stayed for the entire movie all the while hoping that it would soon be over. It's great for kids, but all the silliness and slapstick, which borders on the ridiculous, will bore adults. I'm very sad that this highly anticipated movie for me ended up being such a huge disappointment! Unless you have kids, don't waste your time or money!
