Review of I Was a Male War Bride (1949) by John C — 20 Jul 2010
The first half runs along in a relatively amiable way, though it is a little on the slow side. But the film really kicks into gear in the second half when the two main characters decide to get married.
At that point, it really does earn its reputation as a screwball classic.
