Review of I Want Candy (2007) by Peter B — 29 Apr 2008

A Brit attempt at American Pie or The Girl Next Door that has a few laughs but feels so cobbled together that you just kind of count down waiting for it to end. The main irritation is the music score, sounds like it was done on a keyboard 10 minutes before release and then just stuck over the scenes.

..every few minutes there's a scene with characters talking and the annoying score just keeps playing loudly and its distracting. Also scenes just seem to end suddenly before they have naturally ended and the less said about the ridiculous ending the better.

Carmen Electra looks guud but has looked better and the eastenders bionic womany type bird is somehow a lot hotter than her. Gareth from the office has a funny role and Jimmy Carr is good in his few scenes but other than that its pretty piss poor stuff.
