Fabulous movie. The story that is told, the actors who tell it, and the gripping entertainment of it all, is exactly what I enjoy and appreciate. I have to wonder what heights Tonya would have achieved had her personal life been more nurturing, supportive and free of physical abuse.
I also had to wonder how Tonya being so different from the mainstream culture of the figure skating elite contributed to how she was perceived and treated.
