Review of I, Tonya (2017) by Paul O — 17 Mar 2018
I have been pining literally till this movie "I, Tonya" came out and released on Blue-Ray and when it happened a few days ago of course mine was delivered at the door to my sure amazement along with another movie released the same day.
To get to the point. I never, not one minute in the movie; did I move. I was mesmerized with anticipation for the next scene till the end" even wanting more even though it was over. But that is the way you knowi the movie was good.
I believe this is Margot Robbie's best movie to date. I hope we get to see more of Margot Robbie in documentary's and the like. However the woman she portrayed was a broken women who went through some of the worst experiences and able to sharewith the world is truly believed, I have no doubt that woman has had this happen that's portrayed in the movie plus some that may have been to harsh to share with her fans.
Yes, if you want to face it or not. We are all fans of Tonya rather you believe it or not if you're in The US of A you are a fan by watching this movie and being one watching on the sidelines while all this was transpiring out of control back in the day.
I know for one I can say although she may have ruffled the feathers of everyone she came in contact with, Tonya did as probably most of us would do, fight, that's the American Spirit. So be glad you watch the film and cherish the fact that Tonya let us into her life all those years ago.
She may be as she or Margot Robby states "Poor and Redneck". If you know anyone that has been through all the stuff she went.
