Review of I Think I Love My Wife (2007) by Lynn P — 09 Aug 2008
This movie is full of tired cliches about relaionships and marriage. The pedestrian plot is interspersed with a few laughs here and there -- on topics related and totally random (it's like Chris Rock had some jokes he wanted to try out and he just found points in the movie to sprinkle them) but overall this movie lacked the sharp, incisive thinking that Chris Rock's stand-up is known for.
Kerry Washington's character is awful too - she was so caricatured it was hard to find her likeable at all but maybe that was the point.
