Not nearly as good as the first one, although freddie prinz jr and mekhi phifer and their associated hotness definately made up for this!!!

I can't describe how much it bothered me and made me want to personally intervene within the US education department at the thought that 4 people, educated enough to be attending college, were unaware of the capital of Brazil!!!

But ja, cool scary, isolated, deserted beach resort setting and associated scary stormy weather; lots of gross blood and gore; and some voodoo/hoodoo thrown in for good measure (I must say, more could have been made of this, as that shit has the tendancy to petrify!!!), made up for poor acting (though a lot can be said for the dreaded and stoned jack black, who got killed in a most excellent manner!!!).

All in all, fine holiday fun (for a lame teenage slasher film ;P.
