I've never found these movies particularly scary, but the original and this sequel were among my favorites when I was a teenager. I can still appreciate all the campy fun they bring. This isn't quite as good as the original, but as sequels go, it's pretty good.
It does at least carry on the original story, which is more than can be said for most teen scream sequels.
