Review of I Smile Back (2015) by Lawrence W — 15 Nov 2015
Autobiographical Sarah Silverman? Hot mom who who's life is a wreck. Nice touches: forgets the school ID, didn't get the email about parking. Sympathetic treatment of depression and self destructive behavior.
Not melodramatic, but not especially insightful. What does drive her? Good script, good performance, but not particularly inspiring. Appropriately hanging ending.
