Hodge podge of styles. I only rented it cuz Ron Perlman and Dominic Monaghan were in it. It had an interesting story with all the ghouls. If I hadn't known about the history the of time that this story took place it might seem a little more strange cuz they acutally did sell dead people.
Special effects were pretty kewl, I felt a little ripped off that I didn't get to see Valentine's nasty face though. It's not for everyone with all the cut scenes that indicate the present again, a little comic bookie for some but actually pretty kewl.
