Review of I Saw the Devil (2010) by Filmgrinder S — 05 Jun 2013
A different take on serial killer movies. This time you have the killer as the prey and being hunted out of revenge. Min-sik Choi is brilliant again in this role, giving his character the gritty and psychotic edge that it needs.
One of the best serial killer villain roles ever, rivaling that of Hannibal Lecter. Byung-hun Lee was emotionally good in his role also. The cinematography was beautiful. Although at times some of the plot lines and actions seemed a bit too over the top.
This could very well be the fourth film to the Revenge trilogy. A very gory thriller that keeps you hooked from beginning to end. Watch this if thrillers are your cup of tea.
