Brutal beyond most comfort levels.

There were a few times when my hand hovered on the stop button. Min-sik Choi's performance takes the film to another level of face covering horror, whle the star Byung-hun Lee manages to show nearly (I say nearly) no emotion throughout the entire film yet still keeps the intensity all the way up to 10. The sort of truly disturbing yet compulsive film only the Koreans and French can achieve.
