Review of I Love You to Death (1990) by Eric S — 10 Sep 2009
"I Love You to Death" is a solid black comedy, with a great cast and performances. Kevin Kline was just brilliant as Joey Boca and the late River Phoenix was great as well. Joan Plowright never dissapoints.
Keanu Reeves and William Hurt as stoners was just hilarious. Its funny that this a true story, but the reason why I think it isn't more well known is because of the lack of substance. There just isn't a whole lot offered here and can be boring sometimes.
