Review of I Love You to Death (1990) by Marco P — 28 Feb 2010
This was an overlooked gem of the early 90s. Kevin Kline followed up his Oscar-winning performance in A Fish Called Wanda with this comic story about Joey, a philandering Italian who gets a taste of his own medicine from his wife-- getting half killed by halfwits.
Kudos to the late great River Phoenix for exhibiting some acting chops, but the real treat is really given by the film's two nincompoops: William Hurt and Keanu Reeves.
